Job Summary

Lead end-to-end performance engineering for the DecisionSpace Geosciences (DSG) product suite, designing and executing performance, scalability, stress, endurance, and benchmark tests. Validate application performance across key geoscience domains, build realistic workflows and datasets, and analyze response times, throughput, utilization, and bottlenecks. Partner with Development, SRE, and Customer Support/Account teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, maintain automated suites in TestArchitect, and deliver performance reporting and release certification.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end performance engineering for the DSG product suite.
•Design, develop, maintain, and execute performance, scalability, endurance, stress, and benchmark tests.
•Validate performance across DSG functional areas such as geology, geophysics, velocity modeling, scalable earth modeling, and the seismic engine.
•Develop realistic customer workflows and datasets; analyze response times, throughput, resource utilization, and bottlenecks.
•Build and maintain automated performance test suites in TestArchitect, execute regression for releases, produce performance reports/dashboards, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or a related technical discipline.
•10+ years of software QA and performance engineering experience with deep domain knowledge of Landmark DecisionSpace Geosciences (DSG).
•Extensive experience designing and executing performance, load, stress, scalability, endurance, and performance regression testing.
•Proven experience using TestArchitect for test automation and execution.
•Strong ability to analyze performance issues using logs and system metrics (CPU, memory, storage, networking, database) and provide actionable recommendations.
