Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage CAPEX ammonia refrigeration projects across Pilgrim’s sites, including scope development, drawings, budgeting, and contractor oversight
  • •Design refrigeration systems: equipment selection, piping diagrams, system controls, piping sizing, and code compliance
  • •Troubleshoot and provide recommendations for safe and efficient operation of ammonia refrigeration systems
  • •Perform system calculations (heat loads, mass and energy balance, air balance) and ensure PHM/PSM compliance
  • •Travel to Pilgrim’s sites as required to ensure proper operation, safety, and project execution

Key Requirements

  • •Refrigeration system design including equipment selection, piping diagrams, system controls, and code compliance
  • •Development and implementation of CAPEX ammonia refrigeration projects across multiple sites, including budgeting and contractor management
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and optimize ammonia refrigeration systems for safe, reliable operation
  • •Strong knowledge of OSHA safety practices and Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations
  • •Willingness to travel to Pilgrim’s sites as required to ensure proper operation and safety
