Job Summary

Lead the development and maintenance of scalable Playwright-based automation frameworks, using JavaScript/TypeScript, BDD, and Page Object Model patterns. Build reusable utilities for web/API testing, reporting, and CI/CD execution. Integrate LLMs and agentic AI workflows to accelerate test generation, script creation, locator analysis, and failure debugging—working with Playwright MCP to enable AI agents to interact with browser sessions. Collaborate across QA, engineering, and product to improve automation coverage and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain Playwright-based automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript, BDD, and Page Object Model.
•Build reusable automation utilities for browser handling, test data, API integration, screenshots, logging, reporting, and CI/CD execution.
•Integrate LLMs and agentic AI workflows into QA processes for faster test generation, script creation, analysis, and reporting.
•Work with Playwright MCP to enable AI agents to interact with browser sessions, inspect web apps/DOM, and generate automation flows.
•Analyze automation failures using traces, logs, failed locators, HAR files, and execution context; apply self-healing automation concepts and collaborate to improve automation coverage.

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
•Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
•Experience designing automation frameworks using Page Object Model, BDD, reusable utilities, and data-driven testing.
•Proficiency in web automation concepts (locators, waits, assertions, browser contexts, traces, screenshots, and reports) and debugging automation failures.
•Experience with API testing using Playwright API, Postman, or Rest Assured.
