Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead initiatives to produce an industry-leading Elasticsearch search engine with speed and relevance in search.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional experience with search or vector databases at scale, using algorithms such as HNSW, IVF, or similar libraries.
  • •Strong core Java skills, including data structures, concurrency constructs, and modern features such as lambdas.
  • •Ability to take projects from technical design through implementation while collaborating with other engineers.
  • •Experience with data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra and understanding their workings.
  • •Track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code while owning outcomes.
