Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform hand calculations and determine scope for higher-detail thermal analysis models.
  • •Conduct detailed thermal analyses to solve program thermal challenges across the product lifecycle.
  • •Generate test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware compliance to customer requirements.
  • •Analyze test data to validate and correlate thermal models.
  • •Present results, document work, and act as a technical leader and/or lead analysis/test teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience (or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years’ experience).
  • •Experience performing thermal analysis with ANSYS, FloTHERM, PATRAN, Thermal Desktop/SINDA or equivalent tools.
  • •Experience with thermal analysis of electro-optical sensor systems.
  • •Demonstrated experience in thermal testing: planning, organization, execution, data reduction and correlation.
  • •Ability to obtain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required; must be able to work onsite in a closed and secured space in El Segundo, CA.
