Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain the EHS&S management system aligned with Colombian regulations and corporate policies, including annual strategies, KPIs, and action plans for safety, health, and sustainability performance.
  • •Ensure legal compliance for environmental permits, regulatory reporting, and EHS&S requirements; lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and establishment of operational controls for safe working conditions across production areas.
  • •Develop safety, environmental, ergonomics, and emergency response training programs; promote a prevention culture, order and cleanliness (5S), and safe behaviors.
  • •Lead incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring effective corrective actions; maintain records, indicators, and monthly/corporate reporting.
  • •Coordinate government inspections, manage internal/external audits and ISO certifications; execute sustainability projects to reduce emissions and impacts on energy, water, and waste while supervising and developing the local EHS&S team.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Environmental Safety, Safety and Occupational Health, or related field.
  • •Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • •5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • •Strong knowledge of local and national safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • •Advanced knowledge in operational risk management, root cause analysis (RCA), HAZOP, and JSA/ATS; experience implementing and auditing ISO systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001).
