Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble metal bus bars and other switchboard/panelboard components using manufacturing information such as diagrams, blueprints, bill of materials, and order entry systems.
  • •Use hand tools and measuring devices (e.g., tape measure) to measure and install material according to established procedures.
  • •Track job progress, communicate problem areas or part shortages, and participate in process improvement and root-cause analysis for quality/production issues.
  • •Perform quality responsibilities including visual inspections before and after assembly, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting assembly errors.
  • •Comply with safety policies, use personal protective equipment, perform 5S duties, and cross-train/stand in for other employees when needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.5 - 17.16 hourly

  • •No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the Sumter facility will be considered.
