Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting needs, business processes, and data definitions; translate requests into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process/data mappings.
  • •Design, develop, test, and support analytics assets in Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, warehouses, dataflows, pipelines, semantic models, and Power BI reports.
  • •Build reusable semantic models with consistent measures, relationships, hierarchies, security, and enterprise reporting standards; develop DAX measures and report interactions.
  • •Implement data governance and security practices (workspace permissions, row-level/object-level security, data sharing controls) and manage lifecycle activities using Git, Azure DevOps, and deployment pipelines.
  • •Participate in Agile delivery, lead/support testing and UAT, create release notes/training/support documentation, and provide production support with clear communication of risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data analysis, data engineering, reporting, or related delivery.
  • •Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Power BI (including building reports, dashboards, and semantic models).
  • •Strong skills in requirements gathering (user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping) and stakeholder facilitation.
  • •Working knowledge of SQL, dimensional modeling, data quality validation, and analytics data design; ability to troubleshoot reporting, refresh, permissions, and production support issues.
