Lead the first line commercial risk function for Airwallex, defining the risk strategy and supportability frameworks, bridging between commercial teams and risk functions. Key Responsibilities

•Define and manage the 1st LoD commercial risk strategy and supportability frameworks, serving as the primary checkpoint and providing guidance for complex or high-risk merchant use cases to unlock revenue and sign off on deal documentation before 2nd line escalation.
•Translate complex 2nd line risk appetite and policies into clear, actionable commercial playbooks and embed risk ownership into daily operations by participating in major deal reviews, pipeline calls, and quarterly business reviews.
•Partner with enablement teams to design practical training and tools for front-office staff and act as the primary accountability for commercial conduct risk, redesigning incentive structures with Revenue Operations.
•Design and execute a continuous portfolio monitoring framework with Data and Regional RevOps teams, tracking KPIs like GP-to-risk ratios, customer risk tiers, and fraud/loss rates to mitigate risks.
•Lead post-mortems on commercial-induced incidents, drive root-cause analysis and remediation, and enforce 2nd line decisions while representing the commercial risk perspective in governance, regulatory, and audit contexts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 300,000 annually
