Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end project life cycle from inputs analysis through design/engineering, model development, testing/FAT, and commissioning.
  • •Develop and simulate electrical models for PPC/MPPC/EMS using PSCAD/PSSE/Digsilent PowerFactory and generate required reports.
  • •Conduct process testing, tuning, feasibility studies, and grid compliance/RMS/EMT study reporting for PV PPC and Battery EMS controls.
  • •Lead Ovation controls PPC design and testing for solar/BESS/hybrid greenfield and retrofit projects, including tie-back simulation and control logic/SCADA modifications.
  • •Coordinate with customers, run meetings/demos, distribute engineering work to system integrators, and support SATs/commissioning and site testing including travel for assignments.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree in Electrical, Power Engineering, or EEE.
  • •8 to 12 years designing and engineering electrical modeling using PSCAD, PSSE, and Digsilent PowerFactory for PPC/MPPC/EMS.
  • •Ability to design and test PPC/MPPC controls for renewable energy (RE) projects.
  • •Process testing and tuning of Solar/BESS/Hybrid plant PPC controls, including working with grid standards and guidelines.
