Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide design engineering support for the Asheville casting and machining product line.
  • •Serve as part of a cross-discipline Integrated Product Team to execute deliverables such as producibility improvements and non-conformance dispositions.
  • •Support existing products and new product design technologies introduced at the Asheville manufacturing site.
  • •Coordinate integration across CIPTs, part-responsible IPTs, Engineering Support to Operations, Asheville Operations, and Quality.
  • •Execute mechanical design engineering standard work, communicate with IPT and program customers, and support MB-DMI deployment at Asheville.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in STEM and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years relevant experience.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required.
  • •Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
  • •Turbine airfoil engineering experience.
  • •Proficiency with GD&T ASME Y14.5M-1994 and 2018.
