Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct daily maintenance work activities in assigned equipment areas and set up maintenance schedules as needed.
  • •Follow standard operating maintenance instructions/procedures, including replacing, adjusting, and installing feed mill equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot ongoing maintenance problems and develop strategies to correct issues and reduce unscheduled downtime.
  • •Develop, improve, and support a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and parts replacement/repair guidelines.
  • •Maintain shift maintenance reports and equipment maintenance records in the Methods system, manage critical parts inventory, and support safety, environmental, EMS, and food-safety compliance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25 - 29 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma and 1 year of successful industrial maintenance experience required.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and assemble feed mill equipment.
  • •Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues including solid-state circuitry, 110V control circuits, lighting circuits, VFD and soft-start drives, and 3-phase circuitry.
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and electrical schematics; must be able to read and speak English.
  • •Experience with pneumatic systems (compressors, cylinders, solenoid valve troubleshooting/maintenance) and liquid systems (positive displacement pumps, metering system calibration, automatic valves, and plumbing).
