Job Summary

Assist embedded software testing and validation for controllers used to control Ingersoll Rand compressors. Complete a minimum 3-month training in manual embedded application testing, test case design, user interface testing, and Python-based test automation. After training, support projects within the Controls & Software Testing Team by executing manual tests, improving coverage, automating repetitive checks, troubleshooting field issues, and maintaining test documentation (including DFMEA/DVP&R).

•Execute manual test cases for sprints and improve test coverage by identifying new scenarios.
•Perform user interface testing across controller HMI platforms and web-based interfaces.
•Use Python scripting to automate repetitive test checks, parse controller and data-recorder logs, and analyze results.
•Troubleshoot field issues, reproduce defects, perform root cause analysis, and support retesting of critical defects.
•Prepare and maintain test documentation including Test Plans, Test Reports, and regulatory artifacts (DFMEA, DVP&R).
