Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide quantity surveying services and advisory support across the full project lifecycle, including procurement and contracting support, cost estimating, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • •Advise clients on procurement routes and contracting strategies aligned to project objectives and risk profiles.
  • •Lead procurement processes, including vendor prequalification, bid/proposal evaluation, bid leveling, and support bid interviews and contract award recommendations.
  • •Perform quantity take-offs and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and manage estimating services, including presenting estimates and value engineering/risk assessments.
  • •Administer contracts and manage commercial closeout activities, including interim payment applications, variations/change orders, final accounts reconciliation, and post-contract reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects.
  • •Proficiency in measuring and cost management software systems and strong knowledge of BOQs, procurement management, and financial reporting.
