Job Summary

Provide technical expertise for HVAC/building automation systems, including understanding central plant/AHU functionality, reviewing functional specifications, and supporting BMS project commissioning. Troubleshoot HVAC control loops and analyze site operating data and faults. Support DDC programming and integration protocols, attend meetings with global customers, and provide technical direction to project and field teams. Prepare monthly reports and apply QA procedures and building standards awareness (e.g., LEED, GREENMARK).

Key Responsibilities

•Understand overall HVAC system functionality (central plant, AHU, unitary controls, etc.).
•Review functional specifications/sequence of operations and validate functionality per specifications.
•Troubleshoot HVAC control loops and analyze faults in control loops/sensors using site operating data.
•Represent data in chart format and prepare monthly reports.
•Provide technical direction to project team members and technical support to field technicians, including attending meetings/telecons with global customers.

Key Requirements

•Niagara Certified with experience working on Niagara.
•Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
•2-5 years of work experience in a projects environment, with on-site knowledge and a proven track record in BMS project commissioning.
•Knowledge of software programming/coding and DDC programming.
•Knowledge of networking, database technology, integration protocols, and protocols such as BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, and OPC (plus other protocols).
