Job Summary

Develop and deliver civil/structural design documents for Oil, Gas and New Energies projects. Based in Bogotá, you’ll produce design bases, specifications, calculation memos, and structural drawings while ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and operational safety. You’ll lead small working groups when needed, support interdisciplinary reviews, participate in technical workshops (peer review/design review), and help maintain lessons-learned knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure compliance with company and local corporate policies and values at all times.
•Perform field visits to collect and verify project information and verify work performed by subcontractors.
•Create discipline-specific deliverables such as design bases, specifications, calculation memos, structural building and foundation drawings, equipment foundations, and pipe/support and cable tray designs.
•Use discipline-provided civil data to develop structural design outputs.
•Ensure designs comply with national and international codes/standards (NSR-10, RAS, API, ASTM, OSHA), client specifications, and good engineering practices; participate in interdisciplinary document reviews and technical meetings/workshops.

Key Requirements

•4 to 8 years of specific experience in civil/structural engineering projects within the Oil & Gas sector.
•Professional background in civil structural engineering (or related fields).
•Develop the activities and documents required to achieve optimal designs for assigned projects.
•Ensure design quality, on-time delivery, operational safety, and economic feasibility requirements.
•Lead small work groups and provide technical support under the Discipline Lead, supporting architectural and structural design development as needed.
