Key Responsibilities

  • •Process daily teller transactions, including deposits, loan payments, check cashing, savings withdrawals, night/mail deposits, cashier’s checks, and savings bond redemptions.
  • •Answer client questions in person and over the telephone, and assist with special requests such as closing accounts, ordering checks, exchanging foreign currency, and safe-deposit box procedures.
  • •Identify basic cross-sell and referral opportunities by understanding client needs, informing clients of new services/promotions, and directing them to a banker.
  • •Reconcile cash drawer by verifying transactions, counting and packaging currency/coin, submitting excess/mutilated currency, and maintaining cash supplies.
  • •Comply with bank operations and security procedures, including dual-control functions and maintaining confidentiality; participate in training and team support.
