Key Responsibilities

  • •Support all aspects of day-to-day operations and maintenance of a generating station, including supervising and directing multi-skill production and maintenance support personnel.
  • •Ensure and monitor safety and environmental compliance, regulatory compliance, administrative and procedural compliance, and documentation.
  • •Review and analyze unit start-up/shutdown/trip/upset conditions and equipment failures, documenting recommended corrective actions.
  • •Assist in planning and scheduling for plant operational and maintenance activities, including coordinating shutdown and start-up plans for planned outages.
  • •Coordinate NERC compliance self-certification and data request responses, support internal NERC compliance audits, and assist with NERC cyber security and EMS compliance and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years of power generation plant experience (required).
  • •Experience using Maximo for planning work, creating purchase requests, and creating job plans (required).
  • •Experience with operations and maintenance at a power plant, particularly control operator experience on a combined cycle unit (preferred).
  • •Technical background or instrumentation and control background (plus).
  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent; experience gained through college programs and/or certifications is applicable to some skills listed.
