Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure correct tools, parts, components, and information are available to maintain and repair physical plant equipment.
  • •Execute accurate MRO inventory transactions including stocking items received, parts disbursement, returns, inventory audits, and adjustments.
  • •Serve parts-room customers, record disbursements, and maintain accurate supplier/vendor part descriptions and inventory balances.
  • •Enter maintenance documentation and administrative processes into maintenance systems (purchase orders, work orders, inventory levels, invoice verification, restock orders, preventive maintenance, and inventory audits).
  • •Investigate vendor order problems (backorders/slow shipments), help schedule and expedite deliveries, and generate daily/weekly/monthly and ad-hoc reports (including administering the CMM Program).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) and 1+ years’ experience in purchasing/parts room inventory/vendor relations.
  • •APICS certification (preferred).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • •Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
