Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, evaluate, and summarize risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to support underwriting decisions.
  • •Follow Underwriter instructions for policy rating, subjective pricing, policy construction, coverages and exclusions, and mandatory forms to quote and issue policies.
  • •Provide account servicing support for new business, renewals, and endorsements, handling end-to-end servicing processes for basic to moderately complex business.
  • •Respond to written, verbal, and telephone inquiries appropriately and on time under close supervision.
  • •Support broker/agent/distributor/customer interactions by providing basic customer service skills in collaboration with assigned Underwriters.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.8 - 38.94 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience in administrative, customer service, financial services, risk management, or insurance OR complete the Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and no prior experience OR high school diploma/equivalent plus 2+ years in a related area.
  • •Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred).
  • •Customer service and relationship-building skills (preferred).
