Key Responsibilities

  • •Enter and work in all areas of a full motion simulator, including tight spaces and passageways.
  • •Design, fabricate, document, and install training equipment; assist with trainer and system development and enhancements.
  • •Install design modifications from approved simulator engineering releases and rectify simulator discrepancies as assigned.
  • •Implement engineering change orders and bulletins; perform operational checks and preventative maintenance per company and vendor requirements.
  • •Evaluate simulator flight functions and assist with qualification test guide (QTG) modifications and FAA evaluations, including system evaluation, testing, and software programming.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum two-year degree in an accredited electronics school or related technology (computer science, mathematics, electronics, or electrical engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • •Two years’ experience in simulator technology preferred.
  • •Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • •Knowledge of mainframe, mini, and personal computers required.
  • •Programming-language knowledge (Fortran, C and C++) is highly desirable.
