Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with design engineering and manufacturing to create flight hardware quality plans, including key characteristics, prototype testing, first article, detailed inspection planning, and lessons learned from past failures.
  • •Develop, implement, and validate Lean test and inspection processes, ensuring objective criteria and consistent achievement of quality goals.
  • •Monitor production ramp-up success using quality and analysis tools, and conduct regular build quality reviews to improve risk reduction and manufacturability.
  • •Investigate failures in production, test, and flight to identify and mitigate immediate and underlying root causes, reducing risk and improving reliability.
  • •Contain suspect or known non-conforming product and support shop-floor continuous improvement by creating standard rework/repair guides and optimizing critical process inspections and controls.

Key Requirements
