Job Summary

Lead senior site support for the STORMS satellite control network operations at an assigned tracking station. Direct maintenance, logistics, communications, and engineering coordination to ensure contractor performance aligns with the PWS, Technical Orders, Operating Instructions, and directives. Supervise maintenance personnel, monitor mission systems and outages, coordinate corrective actions, manage documentation and engineering changes, and interface daily with Government leadership and mission partners.

Key Responsibilities

•Direct maintenance, logistics, engineering, and site support activities supporting assigned Satellite Control Network (SCN) operations.
•Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure compliance with the STORMS PWS, Technical Orders, Operating Instructions, and Government directives.
•Monitor mission systems, respond to equipment outages and operational impacts, and coordinate corrective actions through the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC).
•Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs), and manage engineering changes, documentation updates, and system acceptance testing.
•Oversee logistics support, supply accountability, PQDR submissions, TMDE program management, and provide daily interface with Government leadership and mission partners.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 84,468 - 143,912

Key Requirements

•Maintain a current active Secret clearance.
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline (additional related experience may substitute).
•Minimum five (5) years of Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) or equivalent satellite operations experience.
•Experience supervising technical personnel in a Government or DoD environment.
•Experience supporting maintenance, logistics, engineering, or satellite communications operations, including working directly with Government customers and military personnel.
