Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with OSG PM leaders and project managers to track and monitor project spending and prepare forecast cost reports, including ETC and EAC.
  • •Review invoices and change orders, identify resolution paths for outstanding accrual/invoice issues, and support supplemental funding requests.
  • •Identify cost overruns, monitor contingency and project completion dates, and submit project completion reports as needed.
  • •Review project costs for compliance with regulatory, company, and department guidelines and procedures, including GAAP and FERC (where applicable).
  • •Report and analyze cost variances and trends, calculate and document accurate project accruals, and develop ad-hoc reports for KPI and data requests.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Engineering (or applicable experience).
  • •Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for project cost controls and reporting.
  • •Ability to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls.
  • •Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to produce accurate work products.
  • •Highly competent with Microsoft Excel and experience with project cost control activities such as forecasting and accruals.
