Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake design and review of structural elements on wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects, from concept through construction.
  • •Collaborate with clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholders buy in and contribute to the firm’s technical capability.
  • •Produce and review deliverables including calculations, drawings, and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures.
  • •Deliver to agreed budget, programme, and quality, supporting project budget and programme preparation.
  • •Delegate tasks, direct and oversee others, act as a technical mentor, and seek opportunities to innovate and trial new methods.

Key Requirements

  • •Civil or Structural Engineering degree (or equivalent).
  • •Structural analysis and design experience, especially with reinforced concrete and steelwork structures.
  • •Experience delivering in a digital environment using BIM and 3D design tools.
  • •Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional institution (ICE or IStructE).
