Job Summary

Lead the design, development, testing, and commercialization of advanced downhole mechanical systems supporting Wireline and Perforating technologies. Serve as a technical lead on new product development programs, applying engineering analysis, simulation, and reliability/risk methods to solve complex mechanical design challenges. Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, testing, and field operations to deliver high-performance, reliable tools while meeting HSE, quality, and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead mechanical design and development for new downhole tools, product enhancements, and technology development programs.
•Establish project development plans and provide technical leadership across the product development lifecycle.
•Create mechanical designs, engineering calculations, tolerance analyses, and functional specifications for complex projects.
•Perform analysis and troubleshoot mechanical design challenges using analytical and simulation tools.
•Develop verification and validation plans (laboratory testing, qualification testing, and field evaluations) and apply reliability engineering, statistical analysis, and risk assessment to improve performance and durability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
•Minimum four (4) years of related R&D or product design experience (Master’s with two (2) or more years also considered).
•Proven mechanical system design, analysis, and validation experience, preferably in downhole, high-pressure, or high-temperature environments.
•Proficiency with CAD and simulation software (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS) and experience with mechanical testing instrumentation.
•Strong understanding of reliability engineering, materials performance, and integrated system design; PE license is advantageous.
