Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead commercial and cost management for major infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring contractual compliance and financial certainty.
  • •Develop and maintain programme-wide cost management procedures, strategies, and reporting systems; monitor cost control compliance and escalate risks.
  • •Manage variations, change control, retention, liquidated damages assessments, and monthly cashflow forecasting.
  • •Review and approve forecast final costs, valuations, cost reports, variation assessments, and final account submissions; support risk reviews with cost implications.
  • •Provide specialist advice on construction and consultancy contracts, including claims, disputes, negotiations, and value-for-money through procurement support and cost assurance.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
  • •Professionally qualified on the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland, preferably with Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS or SCSI.
  • •Experience working with the NEC Suite of Contracts in a client, contractor, or subcontractor role.
  • •Experience delivering projects in the aviation sector (or similarly constrained or operationally complex environments).
  • •Excellent IT skills to use digital measurement, cost planning, and tender document tools.
