Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate forklifts, cranes, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment to move steel products.
  • •Safely load and unload steel materials from trucks, conveyors, and storage areas per standard operating procedures.
  • •Maintain accurate records of material movement, stock levels, and distribution logs; assist with inventory control procedures.
  • •Follow workplace safety regulations including PPE usage, load capacity limits, and equipment maintenance checks; inspect materials and report defects.
  • •Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance, coordinate with production/warehouse/shipping teams, and respond to emergencies such as equipment malfunctions or load spills.

Key Requirements

  • •Operate forklifts, cranes, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment in a steel production and distribution environment.
  • •Minimum 3 years of working experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experience; 1 year GCC experience is a plus.
  • •Experience handling steel products, including storage and distribution requirements, and applying workplace safety standards (PPE, load balancing, hazardous material handling).
  • •Ability to track material movement and support inventory control procedures and maintain accurate distribution logs and stock records.
  • •ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills; and hold a High School Diploma plus technical certificates or a heavy license.
