Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead full-custom analog/mixed-signal IP layout from floor-planning through tape-out, ensuring matching/symmetry, noise isolation/substrate strategies, and power/ground robustness.
  • •Translate circuit performance goals into layout strategies in noise-sensitive mixed-signal environments, including temperature sensor, bias, and ESD protection/clamp blocks.
  • •Ensure layout quality and compliance for yield, reliability, and DFM requirements across complex analog blocks.
  • •Drive and close DRC/LVS/ERC/ANTENNA and reliability checks; address issues such as EM/IR, latch-up, ESD window compliance, and device stress/matching degradation.
  • •Collaborate with circuit, foundry, and CAD teams for signoff convergence and waiver management; provide technical mentorship and establish BKMs/methodology improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Lead full-custom layout for complex Analog/Mixed-Signal IP blocks, including bandgap references, LDOs/regulators, charge pumps, PLLs, delay lines, oscillators, and IO/PHY-related analog blocks.
  • •Strong advanced FinFET layout experience (e.g., TSMC 3nm/5nm), including fin quantization awareness, multi-Vt/multi-fin strategies, and advanced metal stack planning.
  • •Deep understanding of foundry PDKs, layout-dependent effects (LDEs), and process variability to ensure analog robustness and legacy IP support.
  • •Drive layout verification and signoff: DRC, LVS, ERC, ANTENNA, plus reliability checks (e.g., EM/IR, latch-up, ESD window compliance).
  • •Provide technical guidance/design reviews for junior and mid-level layout engineers; establish and document BKMs and improve AMS layout reuse and templates.
