Job Summary

Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous instruction in an online environment as a state-certified substitute teacher. Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system, differentiate based on mastery, and support learning coaches and families with timely communication and troubleshooting. Help students prepare for standardized tests, maintain accurate grade books, and travel occasionally for required school functions and professional development. This is a contractor role requiring independent work and a professional home office.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences and personalize instruction for all students.
•Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and augment course content using prescribed policies and procedures.
•Maintain grade books, make placement/promotion decisions, and alert administrators to student performance and progress concerns.
•Establish and maintain positive rapport with families, and regularly communicate with and respond to students and learning coaches/parents.
•Travel as required (on average once per month and/or up to 20%) for professional development and student testing.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 18.2 - 27.31 hourly
