Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Aura Analyst as the end-user AI-guided text-to-SQL and conversational query analysis tool, including feature definition, customer positioning, and roadmap.
  • •Co-own the product strategy for AI and ML functions exposed via AI functions, ML functions, Python UDFs, Cloud Functions, Container Services, MCP servers, and AI documentation question answering.
  • •Own query optimization and tuning strategy, partnering with the core engine team to surface query plan/regression/recommendation insights and prioritize impactful engine investments.
  • •Own database observability, cloud container observability, and alerting experiences for customers and internal SRE/support teams; align AI/ML surfaces with observability and performance views.
  • •Drive end-to-end execution by writing PRDs, reviewing technical and UX designs, coordinating preview programs/documentation/field enablement, and tracking metrics like time-to-detect and time-to-resolve.

Salary: USD 200,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Develop and maintain multi-release roadmaps for Aura Analyst, AI/ML functions, query optimization, and observability/alerting, aligned to company strategy.
  • •Demonstrated product leadership across multiple engineering and design teams, including people management and mentoring PMs in adjacent areas.
  • •Experience defining problem statements, success criteria, scope, and maintaining prioritized backlogs across teams.
  • •Strong ability to write product requirements, review technical/UX design documents, and drive end-to-end delivery with clear definition of done and acceptance criteria.
  • •Deep understanding of distributed databases, query processing/performance optimization, and observability/alerting systems; comfort reading query plans, indexes, and workload patterns.
