Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and prototype AI agent systems and agentic workflows for data governance and reasoning tasks within Alation.
  • •Partner with enterprise stakeholders to understand data ecosystems and governance challenges and map requirements to technical roadmaps.
  • •Build BI and ML pipelines that convert cataloged data into actionable insights and demonstrate ROI.
  • •Collaborate with Deployment Strategists to scope and deliver engagements against customer value metrics.

Salary: USD 124,646 - 168,272 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in software engineering with customer-facing technical experience such as Solutions Engineer or Forward Deployed Engineering.
  • •Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks and AI tooling, including orchestration patterns, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
  • •Experience delivering BI and data pipeline solutions with strong SQL skills.
  • •Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • •Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and business stakeholders.
