Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues across truck systems using test instruments.
  • •Road test vehicles to confirm faults and ensure proper operation.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory on a company-issued service truck, including parts sourcing and inventory reconciliation.
  • •Maintain compliance and complete DOT forms and repair order documentation, including uploading photos via company processes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related field experience (or an equivalent combination such as additional certifications or 5 years experience).
  • •Valid CDL Class C License and a current DOT medical card (or ability to pass DOT physical) plus DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening.
  • •Hold a current and valid state-of-residence driver’s license and be able to maintain a Driver Qualification File.
  • •Possess and supply required hand tools for job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months; additional ASE certifications preferred.
