Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain plant tooling including molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures to meet standards for cost, efficiency, and health and safety.
  • •Operate standard machine shop tools and CNC-controlled machinery to make tooling and machine parts to blueprint specifications.
  • •Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures to maximize tooling life and minimize downtime.
  • •Assist Engineering with design of tools, jigs, fixtures, molds, and machine parts; maintain and update blueprints.
  • •Create and modify tooling designs using CAD/CAM; read and interpret 3D models, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
