Job Summary

Own the execution and continuous improvement of Albemarle’s U.S. health and welfare employee benefits delivery. Serve as a senior SME and escalation point across annual enrollment, complex case resolution, and governance to ensure compliant, scalable operations. Partner with HR Service Delivery, HRIS, payroll, global HR teams, and external vendors to drive vendor performance, data integrity, analytics, and automation initiatives aligned to the global Total Rewards strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide end-to-end oversight of health and welfare, life and disability, voluntary benefits, wellness programs, time off, and leave of absence coordination.
•Lead annual enrollment execution, including planning, testing, reconciliation, and continuous improvement.
•Serve as the senior escalation point and independently resolve complex cases across carriers, payroll, HRIS, and service delivery teams.
•Act as primary relationship owner for key benefits vendors, driving SLA accountability and improved employee experience.
•Ensure compliance and quality through governance and audits, and partner on reporting/data integrity and automation-driven transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required.
•7+ years of experience in benefits operations, vendor management, or total rewards administration.
•Deep knowledge of U.S. health and welfare programs and regulatory requirements including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA.
•Demonstrated ability to lead through complex problem solving across multiple systems, vendors, and stakeholders.
•Advanced analytical skills, including work with large datasets, reconciliations, and root cause analysis.
