Job Summary

Join the Recommendation Alliance team to build large-scale machine learning models that capture creators’ real-time interests and improve conversion efficiency. You’ll optimize recommendation ranking, recall, and commodity relationship mining to increase overall GMV, analyze creator/merchant behavior using large-scale data, and develop scalable AI/ML solutions using unstructured real-time data pipelines. Work on AI/ML algorithms that improve merchant monetization and support TikTok’s e-commerce growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and design large-scale machine learning algorithms to model creators’ real-time interests and improve conversion efficiency.
•Optimize recommendation systems by improving commodity relationship mining, ranking, recall, and creators’ product recommendations to increase platform GMV.
•Analyze large-scale data on creator and merchant behavior to develop targeted algorithm strategies that improve monetization efficiency and support industrial upgrading.
•Support rapid development of the e-commerce business by enabling better shopping experiences for users and tools for seller centers.
•Develop scalable and optimized AI/ML models and deploy solutions using pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading of large volumes of real-time unstructured data.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree/masters in software development, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Strong theoretical understanding of machine learning and familiarity with algorithms such as collaborative filtering, matrix factorization, factorization machines, Word2vec, logistic regression, gradient boosting trees, and deep neural networks.
•Experience training and deploying models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or MXNet.
•Strong learning ability with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•Interest in or experience from internships, research, or projects in e-commerce, recommendations, or search engines (preferred).
