Key Responsibilities

  • •Read documentation to understand assigned patient diagnoses
  • •Transform diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes
  • •Create uniform vocabulary describing causes of injury, illness, and death
  • •Review clinical statements and assign standard medical codes
  • •Support uniform documentation between medical facilities and highlight documentation deficiencies

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in a healthcare BPO with EM Inpatient; CPC certified
  • •Good knowledge in EM Inpatient coding and multispecialty plus procedure codes
  • •Preferred QC experience
  • •Ability to work scheduled shifts Monday–Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST (shift may change by client)
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral/written) with the client
