Job Summary

Provide deep technical support for engineering issues before, during, and after new product or equipment introductions and deployments. Oversee NPI equipment installation on the test floor, support hardware qualification, conversions, commissioning, and maintenance strategy development. Collaborate with internal teams and external developers/OEMs to solve problems affecting test results, efficiency, and cost, while maintaining ISO/quality documentation and training lab users.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide deep technical support to resolve engineering issues before, during, and after new product or equipment introduction and deployment.
•Oversee NPI equipment installation at the test floor, including support equipment and hardware qualification, equipment conversion, and commissioning.
•Develop maintenance strategies and troubleshoot equipment test issues.
•Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
•Establish and maintain test equipment documentation for ISO/quality requirements and provide equipment training to lab engineering users and technicians.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred >4 years) or a diploma in an engineering discipline (preferred >6 years).
•Good knowledge of IC technologies and understanding of semiconductor testing.
•Experience with Advantest Testers (or equivalent) plus Cohu Handlers and Hontech Handlers (added advantage).
•Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving.
•Independent, self-motivated, able to lead with good communication and interpersonal skills.
