Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, deploy, and lead HR strategies supporting business objectives and corporate/legal requirements, including DE&I, wellbeing, leadership development, and engagement.
  • •Partner with European HR leadership, corporate functional HR leaders, OD, and TA teams to deliver strategic HR initiatives and implement performance management.
  • •Implement HR processes and systems to support recruiting high-caliber talent, enhance HR service delivery/capability, and drive succession planning tools.
  • •Lead communication, culture, health, wellbeing, and community programs, ensuring Turnhout HR policies align with legal, business, and cultural requirements.
  • •Manage collective labor agreement (CLA) negotiations, collaborate with unions and works councils, and coach local leadership to strengthen company culture.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ experience in generalist HR roles, ideally in a manufacturing environment and at manager level.
  • •Strong experience in Belgium employment legislation and employee relations, including collective agreement negotiations.
  • •Demonstrated strategic planning and analytical/financial skills.
  • •Exceptional leadership and influencing ability, with a continuous improvement/innovation and change management mindset, including cross-cultural awareness and DE&I.
  • •Fluent in English and Dutch, with strong communication skills and a coaching approach.
