Assist with daily operations and upkeep of tow boats and the asphalt facility, including operating and maintaining heavy equipment like a frontend loader and skid steer. Key Responsibilities

•Assist the boat pilot, supervisor, or operations manager with daily operations and upkeep of the boat or asphalt facility.
•Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently and perform necessary equipment maintenance.
•Clean and sweep barges, and complete general labor duties such as shoveling.
•Perform welding and fabrication duties as required.
•Maintain a clean work environment, complete required maintenance and safety documentation, and respond to safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of deckhand experience.
