Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safety on the jobsite while performing duties in conformance with established guidelines for structural concrete placement.
  • •Operate power equipment and hand tools safely during gunite/shotcrete placement.
  • •Inspect and maintain nozzle(s) and hose(s), make proper repairs, and report any deficiencies that may present safety or quality concerns.
  • •Use established communication methods (including hand signals) to ensure proper material flow to the nozzle.
  • •Assist the gunite crew with jobsite setup/breakdown and placement of plastic to protect surrounding equipment, work areas, and real property.
