  • •Observe, inspect, and document construction of underground utility and process treatment plant structures as an Owner's Representative.
  • •Ensure compliance with design plans and specifications and permit requirements.
  • •Document contractor progress, maintain quantity records, process payment requests, generate punch lists, and certify completion status.
  • •Maintain accurate field books, construction reports, and as-built record drawings to document site activities.
  • •Coordinate with city personnel, clients, contractors, stakeholders, and third-party materials testing firms; advocate for site safety and track additional work and change orders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of progressively challenging experience on major construction projects performing construction inspection and quality assurance/control, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Experience performing construction inspection on utility infrastructure and related water/wastewater, stormwater, and public right-of-way improvements.
  • •Experience reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation in a construction environment.
  • •Ability to simultaneously inspect multiple projects and respond proactively in a high-paced environment with the ability to adjust to changes.
  • •Demonstrated proficiency using computers to prepare reports with Microsoft Office.
