Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor swimmers and aquatic activities to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
  • •Enforce pool rules and regulations and conduct inspections of the pool area and equipment to identify hazards.
  • •Recognize and respond to emergencies, including rescuing swimmers in distress and administering first aid and CPR as needed.
  • •Communicate water safety information, rules, and emergency procedures to patrons.
  • •Maintain accurate records of incidents and complete required documentation, while supporting cleanliness and pool maintenance tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years working experience, with 2 years relevant working experience.
  • •Certified lifeguard with CPR certification (and ability to apply lifesaving techniques in emergencies).
  • •Professional Qualification in lifeguard training and/or Community First Aid Training Instructor or Professional Rescuer CPR certificate.
  • •Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, accurate decisions during rescues.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly with patrons and coordinate effectively with lifeguards and emergency personnel.
