Job Summary

Own document checking and other trade finance operational activities for exports across business segments, ensuring processing follows SOP/OPM and ICC guidelines (UCP/ISBP/ISP). You’ll perform sanction checking, authorize/input transactions into the system, and prepare/authorize relevant SWIFT messages. You’ll also manage issues and audit observations, prevent revenue leakage from charges recovery, and ensure reconciliations are cleared while collaborating with onshore units.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform document checking, including sanction checking of relevant parties in documents, and handle trade operations for exports.
•Authorize/input transactions into the system and prepare/authorize relevant SWIFT messages.
•Ensure all processing follows SOP/OPM and applicable ICC guidelines (UCP/ISBP/ISP) and that charges recovery is per guidelines.
•Act as an authorizer/maker for Import LG issuance/amendments/cancellation and similar stages for Standby Letter of Credits/Claims.
•Manage customer expectations, participate in team huddles, share errors/knowledge gaps with the line manager/team, and ensure no revenue leakage or pending reconciliation entries.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree and at least 9-12 years of relevant experience in Trade Operations.
•Expert-level knowledge of document checking and understanding of sanction checking of relevant parties in documents.
•Expert-level knowledge of accounting entries and UATs, including understanding of amortization principles.
•Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) and strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
•Good communication skills, team management, interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure.
