Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead overall system network design for RPA and GCS, including defining network architecture and design rules.
  • •Coordinate and support stakeholders (System Designers and transversal disciplines such as Safety, Airworthiness, INFOSEC).
  • •Track implementation and resolve potential conflicts during the process.
  • •Present technical inputs to the customer in design reviews and support customer discussions on network architecture topics.
  • •Coordinate ICD activities, ensure ICD baselines, and monitor adherence to ED-specific ICD rules (IFMP) with corrective actions as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Engineering (Aeronautical) or comparable education.
  • •5–10 years extensive engineering experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of avionics and ground network architectures (Ethernet/IP, OSI model, protocol stacks, switching/routing/firewalls).
  • •Knowledge of avionics buses such as AFDX, 1553, or ARINC 429, plus INFOSEC principles and airworthiness certification is desirable.
  • •Good knowledge of Project/Programme Management and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
