Key Responsibilities

  • •Reinforce didactic content and teach knowledge/skills needed for pre-licensure nursing.
  • •Collaborate with content area faculty to provide expert evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •BSN required; either enroll in a GCU MSN Leadership or MSN Education program immediately upon hire (paid by GCU) or provide BSN with proof of at least 9 graduate credits/3 classes in a graduate program OR approved national certification related to the content area being taught.
  • •3 years' recent clinical work experience in Population Health/Public Health/Community Health nursing with a BSN.
  • •Experience outside the traditional hospital setting (clinics, Veterans health, home health, public health nursing).
  • •Active, current, unencumbered multi-state (compact) RN license.
  • •Must successfully pass a drug test and competency testing, with excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.
