Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild engines and test articles to drawings and procedures; manage parts, torque, and configuration.
  • •Follow build standards and complete build sheets and work records accurately.
  • •Build and wire test rigs; fit sensors and harnesses; prepare fuel and fluid systems.
  • •Assist with data-acquisition setup, sensor calibration, connection checks, and support test operations under engineer direction.
  • •Maintain test cells/rigs/tooling/engines, troubleshoot basic faults, and keep the workshop/test facility clean, safe, and orderly.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical/vocational qualification in mechanical, automotive, or aeronautical fields, or a completed apprenticeship.
  • •3+ years of hands-on experience with engines or mechanical assembly (automotive, motorsport, aviation, or marine).
  • •Competent with hand and power tools and able to read engineering drawings.
  • •Safety-conscious, reliable, and able to follow procedures and quality/build standards.
  • •Basic electrical/wiring and instrumentation experience is desirable (e.g., sensor fitting), plus test-cell/dynamometer exposure.
