Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement service mesh capabilities to simplify connectivity, security, and observability between services.
  • •Evolve platform components on AWS and Kubernetes, focusing on availability, scalability, and developer experience.
  • •Lead end-to-end technical initiatives across architecture design, RFCs, implementation, testing, progressive rollout, observability, and post-production follow-up.
  • •Investigate and resolve production incidents related to connectivity, latency, availability, configuration, and distributed traffic.
  • •Collaborate with development and site reliability/platform teams to define secure, scalable, and operable integrations; participate in technical on-call and incident post-analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid experience developing backend services using Java or Go, including REST API interface design and distributed systems.
  • •Practical knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure covering deployments, networking, troubleshooting, workload configuration, and production operations.
  • •Experience with Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes, including diagnosing development pipeline failures.
  • •Ability to design modular distributed solutions, document technical exchanges via RFCs, and lead end-to-end initiatives.
  • •Strong interest in service meshes (Istio or Envoy), traffic policies, ingress gateways, and mTLS security.
