Key Requirements

  • •8–12 years of experience in communications or an adjacent craft, making complex, high-stakes material clear under pressure (e.g., journalism, speechwriting, chief of staff).
  • •Exceptional writing skills, including distilling technical decisions into simple, compelling narratives and writing convincingly in an executive’s voice.
  • •Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, knowing when to push, listen, and recommend difficult-but-necessary messages.
  • •Ability to embed credibly with engineers and security practitioners by asking good questions and earning trust from skeptical stakeholders.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a field relevant to the role.
