Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and technical guidance for complex electrical engineering deliverables, infrastructure projects, and programs to meet quality and safety standards.
  • •Serve as SME for innovation, administration, and corporate compliance with Local, State, and Federal engineering, construction, and safety regulations.
  • •Perform and review electrical calculations (electrical loads, equipment sizing, feeder sizing, load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, selective coordination, arc flash) and lighting design calculations.
  • •Design facility electrical service and power distribution (480/277, 120/208, 120/240V), including medium voltage, grounding, MCC layouts/sizing, and standby/emergency power systems.
  • •Coordinate with other design disciplines and mentor/manage assigned engineering staff; occasionally serve as a PM on projects and act as a representative at project meetings and conferences.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •12+ years of post-education experience in electrical engineering and infrastructure design for capital projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Advanced proficiency with electrical engineering principles, infrastructure design, and application to permitting and project work-related issues.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical engineering laws, codes (especially NFPA 70-NEC), regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
